Agropyro Ranquel INTA

Ranquel INTA is a new variety of elongated wheatgrass with excellent behavior in saline-sodic soils, tolerant to drought, very good forage production and seed production, developed by the EEA Pergamino.
In the sub-humid regions it is used in mixtures with alfalfa, and in low soils with drainage problems, it is used pure or consociated with white-scented clover (Melilotualbus var. Annua), yellow-scented clover (Melilotus officinalis) and lotus (Lotus tenuis)
Ranquel INTA presents a stable forage production being a valid alternative for planting in soils with hydro-halomorphism characteristics in different regions.
This new synthetic variety has its origin from selected plants, from a naturalized population and adapted to saline sodium soil conditions of the Depresión del Salado. In vegetative state, the plants have bright green leaves and when they go into reproductive state, they turn grayish green. The cultivar is precocious. The weight of 1000 seeds is 7.14 g.
Total forage production in trials conducted during 2017 in Chascomus and Pergamino was 6.4 and 6.9 tons of DM per hectare respectively. The distribution of DM production by Ranquel INTA cut in the two locations is shown below.

Rye Grass Tetraploid Federal INTA

This is a variety of intermediate cycle characterized by its high forage production specially during fall-winter-spring. It has a fast implantation, high production of tillers, high resistance to rust (Puccinia coronata and Puccinia graminis) and high production of seed. The main use is for direct grazing in intensive production systems and also has good characteristics for conservation as hay or silage

Rescue Grass Rosalia INTA

It has a semi-erect growth habit, it is dark green and it has an intermediate cycle. It has a very good behavior in mixtures with other forage grasses and legumes. In pure culture expresses its full potential. If it is properly manipulated, it can provide pasture two times in a year. And it also tolerates frequent spring pasturing with a high growth rate.

It is a diploid variety with excellent winter production. It is a very vigorous growth and ability to issue large tillers, it has very good response to nitrogen fertilization, this is one of the main reasons why it is associated with legumes . It is highly resistant to grazing and cold climates. Seeding: Pure 25/30 kg. Mixed 3/5 kg./ha.

Tall Fescue Fawn

It is from USA. It has an excellent forage production, with good vigor and digestibility. It has high tolerance to cold, heat and drought with good plasticity in different soil types. Seeding : Pure 8/15 Kg. Mixed 3/4 Kg. / ha.

Agropyro Alargado, semillas, pasturas, alfalfa, sorgos híbridos, grama rhodes, brachiaria, subtropiales, gramíneas, leguminosas, rye grass
Tall Wheatgrass

It is perennial. It has an autumn, winter and spring cycle. Its initial growth is rather slow it forms clumps with a deep root system, with rough leaves and marked veins. Because of their outstanding rusticity it adapts to wet, alkaline or saline soils. It produces forage from autumn until spring. Its initial growth is slow, the first pasturing is convenient when the plant has 5-6 month old. For keep good digestibility it is very important to work with high pressure pasturing so that the cow cannot choose it. After grazing, it is convenient to use the weeding machine to improve the fodder quality. Its ideal for mixing with white sweet clover or yellow sweet clover. Sowing pure 25/30 kg/ha, in mix 12/15 kg/ha.
